This month we have be concentrating on getting the car up and running as soon as possible.

The pictures below show the team replacing some of the key components of the steering system.

Since last month we have abandoned the idea of using clutch system to aid during a standing start, and have now focused on using a gearing system for the same purpose, this should also increase our top speed. This change in idea came about as a result of us calculating our theoretical top speed given our existing drive system, and we came up with an outstanding top speed of 23.5mph!!!!!! (not taking into account weight or air resistance!!) and given that some of the best cars are toping 45-50mph, we quickly concluded that something must be done about this, therefore we will be using a gearing system to aid both standing start and top speed.
