There has been great progress this holiday, attaining 3 new sponsors!!

Working closely with one of our sponsors we have be able to T.I.G. weld the entire chassis together. We had originally used pop-rivets, however, over time the rivets could become loose and allow the chassis to bend. We felt that welding the chassis was necessary, in case some of the rivets failed during a race, potentially endanger the driver.

In the spirit of getting something for nothing on which this project if based, we have be fortunate enough to obtain an internal hug gear an almost mint condition, that we intend to use as part of our drive system.

Making the most of the facilities and expertises available to us, we decided it best to re-build the steering, this time going for the lighter option of Aluminium hopefully giving us a longer useable life than the previous steel version.

Unfortunately we are not going to be able to race in the Bedford Autodrome heat as our car is still in pieces and our paperwork is no where near up to date.
